LCDI has grown from humble beginnings in 1988...

We have refurbished and redeveloped the old Roe Valley Hospital to use as our headquarters.

The building has remained structurally and aesthetically the same, and is one of the finest remaining examples of a workhouse in Ireland - well worth a visit.

At our recent 20th anniversary celebrations, chairman Mr Keith Leighton emphasised the commitment and dedication to the staff and volunteers that have seen LCDI grow from humble beginnings to a major support provider for the town and surrounding district.
