Respite Care

The plight of carers is something that at last is being discussed on a national level. It has been acknowledged that there is an army of ordinary people providing caring services to loved ones in their own home.

This is no different in the Roe Valley. These Carers often find little time for themselves.

Our Respite Care service is delivered in Partnership with WHSSB. We provide people to come into the home and allow the Primary Carer ‘time out’.

Our Respite Carers are trained and experienced and clients can rest assured that their loved ones are in good hands during their absence.

Carers Forum

LCDI in Partnership with WHSSB are facilitating the Roe Valley Carers Forum. We have several meetings throughout the year where Carers come together to share views and concerns.

The Primary function of the Forum is to lobby the Trust to ensure that Carers remain on their agenda and that their needs and indeed rights are protected.
